Welcome to HydroHeroes. By downloading, installing, or using the HydroHeroes application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

HydroHeroes is a personal hydration tracking tool. You may use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Create multiple accounts or use automated systems to interact with the App.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or other users' data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information when setting up your profile. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions

HydroHeroes offers optional premium subscriptions ("HydroHeroes Pro") that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and managed via the App Store. Key details:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
• No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period. Refund requests must go through Apple.

4. Social Features & Content

Leagues, leaderboards, and friend features are provided for friendly competition. You agree to interact respectfully with other users. We reserve the right to remove users or content that violates community standards. Usernames must not contain offensive, misleading, or inappropriate content.

5. Health Disclaimer

HydroHeroes is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The hydration recommendations provided are general guidelines based on published health data and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Individual water needs vary based on health conditions, medications, activity level, climate, and other factors. Always consult a healthcare professional for personalized hydration guidance, especially if you have kidney disease, heart conditions, or are on fluid-restricted diets.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code in the App are owned by HydroHeroes and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HydroHeroes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
